Who can get a card
Any resident of Wise County can be issued a resident card. Residents of neighboring counties may be issued a non-resident card which may incur restrictions.

How to Get Your Card
Come in to the library and fill out an application card and supply identification and proof of residence. The library staff will enter your information into the computer and issue you a card.

Borrowing Limits
Books : two week checkout / 4 total books and audio books
Audio books : two week checkout / 4 total books and audio books
Videos : one week checkout / 2 per ADULT card (Under 18 may not check out videos)

Placing Holds
Please contact the library staff if you would like to place a hold.

Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Please either come by the library or call to renew items. Staff will renew items by telephone request.

Library Fines
Books and audio books are charged 10 cents per day overdue. Videos are charged $1.00 per day overdue. Items that are lost or damaged beyond repair are charged at the price of the item.
